EKU students have a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills through participation in service-learning projects in the TRiO Student Support Services program on campus, the NOVA program. Each spring semester, first-year learners in NOVA take “GSD 225 S: Leadership Dynamics,” taught by Stephen J. Haggerty, NOVA’s interim assistant director, where they engage in semester-long team service projects.
