Maysville Community and Technical College is proving that academic service learning is not just for four year institutions.

To help foster service learning at MCTC, Crystal Marshall, an AmeriCorps Volunteers in Service to America member, has been assigned to MCTC to help it achieve its goals. Marshall, originally from the area, said her job will be to "establish community partnerships and community service learning initiatives."
